Insurance Information

Dental insurance does not cover our services. In some instances, medical insurance may provide partial coverage, but there is great variability in plans. Furthermore, health plans do not disclose to us the exact coverage they may provide. For these reasons, our practice is a Fee for Service office, which means payment is expected at the time of service, as our focus is on you, the patient, and not on insurance.

However, should you opt to proceed with a recommended treatment plan, as a courtesy, we will submit the paid fees to your medical health plan. This way, any possible reimbursement is directly mailed to you.

Despite the variability in insurance coverage, Health Savings Accounts (HSA) and Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA) may be applied to our services.

Please note, if your health plan is Medicaid or CHIP, or any other public insurance plan, neither you nor office may submit for reimbursement. You must directly pay our office at the time of service with the understanding that you are being seen as a private pay patient.

At this time, we do not participate with Medicare. However, as there are many kinds of Medicare plans with various levels of coverage, we advise you contact your plan directly to determine the level of benefits, if any, you may have.

We welcome the opportunity to discuss any questions you may have about our financial policy. Our staff may be reached at  Rochester Office Phone Number (585) 358-0460.
